FESTIVAL OF FAMILY FUN
FESTIVAL OF FAMILY FUN
Acknowledging heros in uniform
This special afternoon gathering was designed to provide 8,000 members of an NHS Trust with both recognition and a welcome escape after a year of dedication. Set against the backdrop of Chatsworth House, the event brought together music, delicious food, wellbeing activities, and a strong sense of community, filling the grounds with sunshine, picnics, and joy.
CREATING SURPRISE & DELIGHT FOR
THE NHS COMMUNITY
Combining logistical expertise with creative solutions, we created a pop-up village that offered something for everyone. By carefully shaping the guest journey and pre-event communication, we generated anticipation well before the day itself. From portable toilets to Lamas, even the country estate sheep were involved.

THE PROJECT
PROCESS:
-
The brief was broad, so distilling this down to key objectives, with a visual journey to support each one, helped us find an overall theme with a series of activities and a family-focussed programme.
-
Working with a working group of NHS staff that were so passionate and enthusastic, it was a privilage to help them realise their vision through careful project management.
-
There was so much goodwill to the NHS that suppliers couldn't wait to get envolved, meaning the small budget could be maxmised in really creative ways.
-
Budget didn't stretch to traditional event decor, but finding effective ways to decorate trees around the site gave a festival feel without breaking the bank.
-
Creating event spaces in a beautiful corner of the iconic Chatsworth House meant we had challenges seperating tourists and guests - working with the Chatsworth team to create a smooth guest journey on arrival gave guests the very best first impression.
-
Our team accredited over 8,000 guests and were on hand to support the transition of activities across the programme.
-
Onsite for two days, we started with a field and finished with a beautiful festival site fit for a familiy fun day.
